I would have believed you if you said you were using my modified code, no need to quote the entire thing... I wanted to see your code not my own, which I already know very well.

The reason you can't get any list of values is because you messed up the condition "if (substr($key, 0, 8 ) == 'map')" which translates to "if the first 8 characters of the $key string are exactly 'map'" and this condition can never work as designed, since there are only 3 characters in 'map'.
The correct condition should be "if (substr($key, 0, 8 ) == 'channel ')" and pay attention to the space right after the word 'channel' so that the substring length is 8 characters!
The foreach line should be applied to $server['e'] and not $server['s'] if you want a list of channel names.

When copying code from websites you should always use copy-paste rather than typing what you see, because there's always the risk of missing a space or confusing a forward quote with an apostrophe which can totally mess up your code.

Not working for you?
Don't forget to share the IP/ports of the offending server so that people can do tests and help you.
Oh, and if you're using a modified lgsl_protocol.php, make sure you disable the feed or it may NOT work!
