Well hallelujah ! we were beginning to lose hope here...
We know you have far more important things to take care of besides this forum, and that's precisely why it's a good idea to accept help from your friendly forum members. Don't wait for the next spam flood, do it anyway.

And while you're at it, for god's sake disable posting for "Anonymous" (non-logged-in) users, because no one wants to wait until a moderator approves his post, which never happens. I've seen several times registered users posting as "Anonymous" without realizing they forgot to login and then waiting for moderators to approve their posts.

Oh, and I think you should get rid of the captcha too, since spambots have no trouble getting by it and it is there just to annoy human users, no offence. A forum should use some kind of spam protection only in the new user registration page and not when logged-in users post messages. I use one multiple-answer anti-bot question in my forums and it's quite effective most of the time.
Moderators can easily remove the few bot accounts that manage to get around the security question. Just my two cents...

There are still a few of us here willing to help this project move forward, we don't want to fork anything and we are happy staying here on the LGSL forum so please help us do that.

Not working for you?
Don't forget to share the IP/ports of the offending server so that people can do tests and help you.
Oh, and if you're using a modified lgsl_protocol.php, make sure you disable the feed or it may NOT work!
